IT specialist – application development (m/w/d)

What can you expect as an IT specialist in application development?

During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to:

  • develop, customise and enhance software
  • plan and test new applications
  • work with different programming languages
  • contribute as an integral member of a team
  • develop new features and solutions for our customers’ systems

By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll be able to support software projects from start to finish – from the initial idea through to the finished application. Along the way, you’ll learn how to solve problems and adapt software to changing requirements.

What should you bring?

You should have an interest in computers and programming. Logical thinking and creativity are important, as is the ability to work as part of a team and solve problems.

Start: Every year on 1 August in Offenbach and Bielefeld, and on 1 September at our Radolfzell location.

Location: For apprentices based in Radolfzell, vocational school is in Konstanz. For our Offenbach and Bielefeld locations, vocational school is in Offenbach and Bielefeld respectively.

IT specialist – system integration (m/w/d)

Do you like everything to have a system? Are processing data and analysing numbers things you enjoy? Are you a team player who communicates well with customers? And are you proud of your grades in maths and computer science?

What can you expect as an IT specialist in system integration?

During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to:

  • plan, install and maintain IT systems
  • set up and manage complex IT environments
  • configure networks and install hardware and software
  • keep IT systems running smoothly
  • troubleshoot issues and help resolve them
  • work with users and train them to use their systems effectively

You’ll also keep up to date with the latest technology and follow new developments in the IT industry.
 

What should you bring?

You should have a good technical understanding and an interest in computers. Logical thinking and problem-solving skills are important, as are teamwork and good communication skills.

IT specialist – digitalisation management (m/w/d)

Are you interested in new technologies and future trends in IT? Do you enjoy analysing processes and finding ways to improve them? Do you like weighing up different options and making well-informed decisions based on the pros and cons?

Are you a team player who enjoys communicating with people?

What can you expect as an IT specialist in digitalisation management?

During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to:

  • analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • introduce new applications and technologies to improve efficiency
  • solve problems and explain complex IT applications in simple terms
  • take responsibility and contribute as an integral member of a team

By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll be able to plan and deliver digitalisation projects as part of a team – from the initial idea and implementation through to training users.

What should you bring?

You should be interested in future trends in IT. Logical thinking and a structured approach to work are important, as are teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Important: Please also let us know the dates you are planning to do your work experience. We generally offer placements lasting one week.
 

When should I apply?

Please apply at least one month before your planned start date.Our work experience places are limited, so places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

What does a school work experience placement involve?

On your first day, you’ll be welcomed by our colleague Alessia Astone from the HR team. You’ll then receive all the information you need, a laptop for your time with us and a short tour of our offices.

After that, you’ll spend time with one of our apprentices in your chosen area. They’ll be your point of contact throughout your placement and will give you plenty of insights into the role and what it’s like to work at SYBIT.

At the end of your school work experience placement, you’ll have a short feedback meeting with our HR team and your supervisor. And, of course, we’ll give you a certificate to take home with you.

How do you coordinate the placement with my school?

If your school needs confirmation or a signature from us, we’ll be happy to provide it. Your teacher is also very welcome to visit you for a short time during your placement.
