Effective June 1, 2025, Thilo Kerner will take over the management of SYBIT GmbH from co-founder Thomas Regele, who will continue to support the company in an advisory role.

On June 1, 2025, SYBIT GmbH will mark the beginning of a new chapter in its corporate development: Thilo Kerner will become the new CEO, succeeding Thomas Regele, who co-founded SYBIT 25 years ago and has since shaped the company as Managing Director. Thomas Regele will remain closely connected to the company as a strategic advisor.

“I’m truly honored to take on the responsibility for SYBIT and would like to thank Thomas for his trust, openness, and the collaborative handover,” says Thilo Kerner, who previously served as SYBIT’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), leading the Marketing, Business Development, and Sales divisions. “Thomas built a company known for its reliability, quality, deep consulting expertise, and exceptional culture. I see it as my responsibility to preserve this foundation and continue developing it with fresh energy.”

After many successful years at the helm, during which SYBIT experienced continuous growth, Thomas Regele believes this is the perfect moment for a leadership transition: “The timing is right – we are strategically well positioned, and with Thilo, someone is taking the lead who knows SYBIT, understands the market, and values the team. I look forward to contributing in an advisory capacity, with a bit more distance but with lasting connection and dedication.”

As part of the transition, Michael Blauig – an experienced market development expert with a strong consulting background and previously a senior executive at SYBIT’s parent company NTT DATA Business Solutions – will assume the role of CRO at SYBIT.
